545 _aThis collection contains aerial photographs that were taken of the islands in various years. Some of the projects were initiated by the Charles Darwin Foundation. Galapagos National Park may also have been involved. The purpose of the photographs was to provide a record of vegetation changes and impacts on visitor sites within GNP. A more detailed description of the project, dated 1988, is available in the first box of the collection with the other documentation.
