<br/><br/> Overview<br/>The first Philornis workshop was held in 2012. Since then, a considerable amount of<br/>research has been conducted to develop tools for the management of Philornis downsi.<br/>Furthermore, the Philornis working group has grown and now consists of 15 member<br/>institutions from 8 countries. Given this progress, a second workshop was considered<br/>necesary to:<br/>1) Share the results of research conducted between 2012 to 2015;<br/>2) Assess the progress of the research and management plan for the control of P. downsi<br/>in the Galapagos Islands.<br/>3) Identify new areas of research that should be included in the research plan.
