Summary, etc.	Guiño cuenta la historia de Ross, un chico normal que debe enfrentarse a una situación extraordinaria. Un día, a Ross le diagnostican cáncer en el ojo. Se trata de un caso tremendamente insólito y debe tratarse con extrema urgencia: su ojo afectado se quedará sin visión, pero no tendrá que perderlo. Ante esta situación, tan rápida e imprevista y tan difícil de soportar (la radioterapia, la pérdida de pelo, llevar un ridículo gorro, la cicatriz en su frente…), Ross tendrá que aferrarse a las personas que ama y a lo que verdaderamente importa para superarla. Así, Ross aprende a confiar en Abby, su mejor amiga; en su padre y su madrastra; en Frank, el técnico de radioterapia que le hace descubrir la música y le enseña a tocar la guitarra; en Jerry, un paciente adulto que también sufre un grave caso de cáncer; e incluso en Jimmy, el abusón de la escuela. Todos conforman un entrañable colchón familiar que da refugio e impulso al nuevo Ross, un chico valiente que se enfrenta a la decisión más importante, la determinación de querer vivir, y vivir bien, el resto de sus días.
