Summary, etc.	El Albatro de Galápagos es un ave marina que anida en su mayoría de la isla Española y es endémica para el Ecuador. Esta especie está registrada en la lista Roja de las Especies (UICN), debido a las amenazas que se presentan. El estudio a lo largo plazo tiene como objectivo generar información sobre el estado de la población en la zona de estudio (Punta Suárez), como sobrevivencia, éxito reproductivo, número poblacional. Esta información ayudará a entender las amenazas que tiene esta especie, y ayudará a entender las amenazas que tiene esta especie, y ayudará adoptar las medidas precautelatorias tanto a nivel de la isla como a nivel internacional. Las acciones sobre esta especie se encuentra en el plan de Manejo de la ACAP. En el 2013 se capturaron 135 individuos y se recapturaron 284 individuos; siendo esto positivo y dando fortaleza a la metodología usada desde 2009. Para el 2014 se debe continuar con la metodología establecída, y con esta información se podrá generar más resultados de este estudio.
