Summary, etc.	El primer taller sobre la mosca parásita Philornis downsi se llévo a cabo en 2012. Desde entonces, se ha realizado una cantidad considerable de investigaciones tendientes a desarrollar herramientas que permitan su manejo. Además, el grupo de trabajo Philorns ha crecido y ahora consta de 15 instituciones miembros pertenecientes a 8 países. Habida cuenta de este progreso, se consideró necesario realizar un segundo taller para:<br/>1) Compartir los resultados de las investigaciones realizadas del 2012 al 2015;<br/>2) Evaluar el progreso del plan de investigación y manejo para el control de la P. downsi en las Galápagos.<br/>3) Identificar nuevas áreas de investigación que deban ser incluidas en el plan de investigación.
